Our Aims
  To promote communication between key tissue engineering disciplines (academic & industrial)
- directly through national & regional meetings and workshops.
- indirectly (mainly electronic) linking between major centres and to individual labs.

To provide interactive databases of UK key tissue engineering activities
- for collaborative research funding as a search centre for partners/expertise.
- to facilitate co-publication opportunities & interdisciplinary conference presentations.


To provide a national identity and information centre in tissue engineering
- to promote and explain UK tissue engineering as widely as possible providing a contact point for biomedical & engineering bodies, government and lay media (linkage to the UK and the Euro-Tissue Engineering Societies).
- to encourage constructive competition between groups based on good communication.
   
 
Activities
  Workshops will be designed to incorporate a short brainstorming section

Searches for partners will be undertaken as needed

To act as a 2-way information conduit between TE community and research councils/charities
